Refund Policy

Promises of God Christian Cathedral

 

Promises of God Christian Cathedral is grateful for the generosity and support of our donors. Contributions help advance our mission of sharing the Gospel, serving our community, supporting ministry programs, and fulfilling the work of the Church.

 

For Promises of God Christian Cathedral, charitable contributions may include:

 

  • Tithes and offerings

  • Online donations

  • Special campaign gifts

  • Building fund contributions

  • Mission support donations

  • Benevolence fund donations

  • Gifts of property or equipment

  • Planned or legacy gifts through an estate

 

Because charitable donations are generally intended as irrevocable gifts, the following Donation Refund Policy applies.

 

General Policy

 

All donations made to Promises of God Christian Cathedral are considered voluntary charitable contributions and are generally non-refundable.

 

Once a donation has been successfully processed, it is deemed final and will be used to support the Church’s ministries, programs, operations, outreach efforts, and mission activities.

 

Refund Exceptions

 

Refund requests may be considered under limited circumstances, including:

 

  • Duplicate donations

  • Accidental donation amounts

  • Unauthorized transactions

  • Processing errors

  • Technical errors associated with online giving platforms

 

Each request will be reviewed individually and at the sole discretion of Promises of God Christian Cathedral.

 

Timeframe for Refund Requests

 

Refund requests must be submitted within thirty (30) days of the original donation date.

 

Requests received after thirty (30) days may not be eligible for review or refund.

 

Recurring Donations

 

Donors enrolled in recurring giving programs may cancel future donations at any time through their online giving account or by contacting the Church.

 

Cancellation of future recurring donations does not automatically entitle the donor to a refund of previously processed contributions.

 

Refund Request Procedure

 

To request a refund, please provide:

 

  • Full name

  • Donation date

  • Donation amount

  • Method of payment

  • Reason for the refund request

  • Contact information

 

Refund requests may be submitted by email, mail, or phone using the contact information below.

 

Approved Refunds

 

If a refund request is approved:

 

  • Refunds will generally be issued using the original method of payment whenever possible.

  • Processing times may vary depending on the payment processor, financial institution, or giving platform used.

  • The Church reserves the right to request additional information to verify the request.
